What is PTE?
The Pearson Test of English also popularly known as the PTE is an English language test designed to assess the aptness of non-native English speakers to participate in a university that has its instructions and curriculum in English.
Launched in the year 2009, PTE is now accepted in more than 6000 organizations. PTE is a computer-based exam that focuses on a student's real-life English skills to understand how one can manage in academic surroundings. The exam is three hours long and consists of three sections- Speaking & Writing, Reading and Listening.
Students can take the TOEFL test round the year and select from various test centres across major cities. Given the pandemic, ETS has launched a home version of the TOEFL test where students can take the test from the safety of their homes.
Integrated language is used throughout the test and students are made to listen to different accents that they might encounter in educational institutes. The test scores are reported on the GSE standardized, numeric scale from 10 to 90 and PTE test takers can expect their results within 5 working days.
PTE Training
The PTE evaluates a student's real-life English skills to ensure that he or she can cope with the academic instructions. This requires a student to be ready in every aspect. A student must be comfortable in both communicating and understanding of English language to be able to ace the PTE.
At GRE Toppers we offer our students a real-time online test environment that can help them get accustomed to the real test. Regular practice sessions, tutorials and strategic vocabulary building by experts makes students get comfortable to different difficulty levels and also to manage time effectively
